LBJ Wildflower Center Field Study Program


The Expedition School and the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center parallel in their mission, vision and practices of sustainability. To celebrate the shared vision, The School provides hands on field study and safety courses to the community of the Wildflower Center. A special note of thanks to the staff, volunteers, and docents of the WFC for your dedication and devotion to these programs.
2010 Dates:
Whooping Crane Festival: Dates: February 25th - 27th, 2010. Locale: Port Aransas, Texas. Trip Cost: $199. Cost includes: Admission in to the Whooping Crane Festival; guided boat trip to Aransas Wildlife Refuge to see the Whooping Cranes; guided walks and hikes around the area. Cost does not include food, lodging, or transportation. Ornithologist and Biologist: Brown.
Digital Photography Workshop: Dates: May 7th, 2010. Time: 9-11am Locale: WFC - Austin, Texas. Lecture Cost: $25. Please bring your own Digital SLR camera and weather appropriate clothing. Make certain your camera battery is fully charged and you bring an extra memory card! Lecturer: Pro Photographer Chris Caselli.

**Deposits are necessary to hold lodging reservations for the expedition. Deposits are due two months before the trip depature date.
