AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED and First Aid
Heartsaver® CPR/AED and First Aid is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. The course teaches students critical skills and knowledge needed to respond to and manage a first aid or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Content includes how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies, as well as perform CPR and use an AED.
This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED and First Aid Completion Cards are valid for two years.
In the classroom, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA CPR/AED and First Aid Instructor to complete skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam.
Course Length: 4 hours for Heartsaver CPR/AED and 4 hours for First Aid.
Cost: $100 for private CPR/AED + First Aid course or $75 for a group of 10 or more students. Take the stand alone CPR/AED or First aid course for $50 for each course.
