Whether it’s hiking, backpacking, stargazing, story telling or learning more on the unique geology and paleontology of west Texas - the guides and educators of The Expedition School invite you to explore and learn about the Big Bend - and, beyond - in the most intimate way. Options include expeditions of exploration through -state and -national parks, attending a star party at the University of Texas McDonald Observatory, celebrating artist Donald Judd and, the Chinati Foundation in Marfa, visit to James Evans’ studio in Marathon, and, soaks in the Chinati hot springs.
