Available Support for your next race or event:

• Wilderness EMTs and Wilderness First Responders - providing Basic Life Support, First aid and CPR/AED for Professional rescuer.
• Open Water Lifeguards on Stand Up Paddle boards or kayaks
• We can support USAT, USARA, WFTDA and USA Track and Field events.

The Expedition Medical Team consists of a group of our guides who are experienced Wilderness EMT’s and ER Physicians who serve independently as first responders, medics, doctors and lifeguards for rural events and adventure races.  The Expedition Medical Team provides basic and trauma life support; waterfront lifeguarding; performs search and rescue victim recovery; instructs CPR/AED and Wilderness First Aid courses; educates racers, athletes, volunteers and race directors on course and event safety - including potential environmental and/or course hazards; acts as a liaison between local county fire, police, and EMS, air evac teams and event directors.  Additionally, Expedition Medical Team creates topographic maps, places water buoys, custom designs emergency medical protocols and pre-rides all event routes to ensure the most efficient emergency medical evacuation plan.

In 2008, the Expedition Medical Team were honored to provide medical support for the entire race series of Terra Firma Promo Adventure Race Company; the Toughest Race in Texas; TMBRA series Warda Race;  Danskin Triathlon -Austin, Texas; XTerra- Canyon Lake, Texas; XTerra- Austin, Texas; Colorado River 100; the Dirty Du; the Women’s Race; ARG Challenge Women’s Adventure Race; the Texas Rollergirls; and, the Nike Human Race.
