Recertification Courses
The School can assist you or your group stay current in your American Red Cross certifications with a recertification course. A recertification course involves: a review of the course material; updates on new material and skills; written exam; and skills practical exam. Students must make at least an 80% or higher on the written exam and pass all skills practical exams to receive a new certification card. Recertification Courses are taught upon request.
American Red Cross certifications are valid from the date of the course completion to the following times:
-CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, valid for 1 year for Lifeguards and valid for 2 years for Professional Healthcare Providers:
-Lifeguarding/First Aid, valid for 3 years:
-Waterfront Lifeguarding/First Aid, valid for 3 years
-First Aid, valid for 3 years
-Wilderness First Aid, valid for 3 years
