Surf’s up in Austin, Texas! Learn to Stand Up Paddle from the pros. Weekday and Weekend Dawn Patrol and Sunset sessions at the Camacho Center on Lady Bird Lake! Join us for a SUP session in the AM or PM. Start times as early as sunrise, end times as late as sunset!

Expedition School SUP Sustainability Program for return students - all return students sessions are priced at $25 per person for up to 1 hour and 15 minute session. Return students sign up by selecting the schedule now button and choosing the appropriate number of people. The discount will be applied at the session.
Sessions are available weekdays and weekends year round - by appointment. Meet 15 minutes before your scheduled session at the Camacho Center - Lady Bird Lake
Lesson includes ground school; Stand Up Paddleboard; SUP paddle; PFD (Personal Flotation Device); and flora and fauna identification. All SUP instructors with The Expedition School are surfers who possess a tremendous amount of experience in both the ocean and freshwater environments.
Each lesson or return session helps fund our annual surf trips for the Texas School for the Deaf, Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, creates scholarships for youth heading to our overnight surf camp, and helps fund med supplies and Wilderness Medicine training programs for the Park Rangers in Costa Rica.
