Accomodations: camping at Mustang Island State Park - 24 hour ASL Interpreters, surf staff are all open water lifeguard trained! Environmental Initiatives: Beach clean-up; Leave No Trace Ethics; compost and recycling
Facilities: Wireless internet; 24 hour electricity and fans; projected movies under the stars; fishing Social Initiatives: Every participant receives an annual membership to the Surfrider Foundation
Skills: Ocean safety, surfing, flora and fauna of Coastal Bend; Leave No Trace principles; Marine Biology; Texas surfing history; weather and climate; tides and currents; ultimate frisbee; fishing; Ocean Safety.
Description: Spend three days learning to surf with Kimery Duda and Texas Quiksilver Pro Surfer, Morgan Faulkner. In the afternoon, Ocean Safety; Wave and Tide Predictions; and, Weather and Climate Forecasting. Ultimate Frisbee, surfing film documentaries, and saltwater fishing will be offered as night activities.
