Description: Spend five days learning to surf with Texas Quiksilver Pro Surfer, Morgan Faulkner. In the afternoon, study Ecology and Marine Biology at the University of Texas Marine Science Institute, attend sea turtle hatchling releasese at the Padre National Seashore, enjoy afternoon lectures and hands-on skill sessions on topics including: First Aid for Surfers; CPR/AED; Ocean Safety; Wave and Tide Predictions; and, Weather and Climate Forecasting. Ultimate Frisbee, surfing film documentaries, and saltwater fishing will be offered as night activities. All participants walk away with 2 American Red Cross Certifications: First Aid and CPR and an annual membership to the Surfrider Foundation.
