| Description: Ocean, volcanoes, rivers, and rainforests - Costa Rica offers a multitude of opportunities for exploration and hands on learning. Costa Rica - Spring Break for YOUTH expedition takes you and/or your group on a boat / interpretive hike through rainforest - inside the “most biologically diverse” area in the world, Corcovado National Park; teaches you how to surf the waves along the pristine coastline of the Pacific Coast; on interpretive hikes to view an active volcano, Volcan Arenal; ziplining through cloudforests; to naturally fed hot spring pools to soak; theatre performances at Teatro Nacional; and, whitewater rafting down class IV and V rapids on El Rio Pacuare. The entire time we travel, we are accompanied by The School’s own pro guides - both from the US and Costa Rica- who not only give insight to the true pulse of this country, but also assists you with your Spanish language skills with daily individual and group lessons.
