This course will teach participants how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over.

This is a hybrid course including online lecture time as well as in-person skills, scenarios and exam. 2 hours will be hosted online, utilizing educational videos and a digital course manual. The final assessment of CPR skills will be completed in-person with an Expedition School instructor – in a classroom in your community! Upon successful completion, students will receive the following certifications, valid for 2 years: American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer. Instructor to student ratio is limited to 1:15.

COVID-19 Update
Upon successful completion of the lecture series (2 hours), students will have 90 days in which to schedule and take the final in-person skills assessment portion of the course (1.5 hours).
